Riomaggiore was our fifth and final town! We took another choppy boat ride but this time, it was a bit longer. Riomaggiore and Monterosso are on opposite ends of Cinque Terre. This means we passed by all four of the other villages we visited earlier. It was nice to just be able to sit and enjoy the view and the sea breeze. We didn’t do much while there except walk around and eat a cone of fried seafood. It was a good end to the day.

Depending on the type of traveler you are, Cinque Terre can be done in a day. There didn’t seem to be that many activities or sights to see. But of course, not everyone may agree with that. If you do decide to come to Italy, you should definitely put Cinque Terre on your itinerary. It’s a nice change of pace from all of the museums and historical sites you will likely visit.
