Flinder’s Street Station - is the first railway station in an Australian city. It’s still very much in use today, with over 92,000 entries per day recorded in 2011/2012. Even if you don’t need to take any trains, the trip there is worth it - just the exterior is pretty magnificent.

Yarra River - this river cuts right through Melbourne. You won’t miss it. You’ll even see it way up on the Eureka Skydeck!

Don't forget to bring a lock (even though I'm sure that's frowned upon)

White Night – it occurs around the summer solstice, where the sun rises early and darkness is never complete. It originated in St. Petersburg, Russia. White Night Festival activities include the arts and performances. Check these out!

Streets – are closed off and you’ll find music and street performers in every direction

Dancing – colorful costumes are a must!

Guitarist – pretty amazing (except for the idiot trying and failing to do a cartwheel)

About the author
