It’s simple, really. All you need to do is buy yourself a ticket to Orlando, and head over to Disney’s EPCOT (which stands for Experimental Prototype Center Of Tomorrow) Center! But before you scoff at this idea and never visit my blog again, hear me out.
It’s actually pretty awesome. You get to see the landmarks that each country is known for, try their signature foods, and if that still doesn’t impress you, you can always go on a drinking tour.
EPCOT isn’t really geared towards younger kids. You might catch a glimpse of Mickey somewhere but this park is more for the older kids, or anyone interested in science. Most of the rides are interactive and get you involved. For example, for Test Track, you can ‘build your own car’ before you take it for a spin. For Spaceship Earth, there are games you can play after the ride. For Sum of All Thrills, you ‘build your own rollercoaster’ before riding on it in a simulator.
So because of its content, it seems that most families tend to take their kids to Magic Kingdom. Which brings me to my next point – there were probably half the amount of people at EPCOT than there were at Magic Kingdom. I even had room to walk around the park and not have a baby stroller ram into me every thirty steps. It was kind of nice!
