england 2017

London was probably second on my list of places I wanted to travel to the most (Australia, being the first). When I finally got the chance to visit in May 2017, it didn’t really live up to my expectations. Don’t get me wrong – it was definitely a wonderful and new experience . But I guess I was just looking for a bit more pizazz. Maybe I’ve watched one too many movies that were set in London. Yes, I’m talking about you, Amanda Bynes, in “What A Girl Wants”.

Even though the city wasn’t all it was cracked up to be, I still had a great time, saw some amazing architecture, made new memories with old friends, and even squeezed in a few day trips to nearby towns. Here are a few of my favorite shots from London, Brighton, Stonehenge, Bath, Birmingham, Windsor, and Oxford:

Westminster Bridge 33
Westminster Bridge – London, UK
Brighton 17
Brighton Beach, Brighton, UK
Stonehenge 11
Stonehenge – Wiltshire, UK
Roman Baths 31
Roman Baths – Bath, UK
Birmingham 1
St. Martin in Bull Ring – Birmingham, UK
Windsor Castle 38
Changing of the Guards at Windor Castle – Windsor, UK
Oxford 27
Christ Church Cathedral – Oxford, UK
