you don’t need to understand rugby to enjoy the game

One of the things on my England bucket list was to catch either a live soccer game or a live rugby game. Unfortunately, soccer wasn’t in season when we went in May, so we went with a rugby game. We were lucky with timing because we happened to catch an Aviva Semi-final, so I think it’s safe to assume that the season was almost over at that point. It was between the London Wasps and the Exeter Chiefs.

While we had no idea what was going on, or how rugby is played, it was still fun to watch. The energy was high, especially since it was a semi-final, and they went into overtime twice. Plus the tickets won’t break the bank – we paid about 40 USD per ticket. So if you’re looking for something unique to do in London, catching a rugby game should definitely be on your list.
