1. Afternoon Tea
Originally meant for the wealthy social classes of England, now, peasants like you and I have the chance to experience this. It’s typically a light meal in the late afternoon, consisting of finger sandwiches, scones, cakes, and of course, tea

2. Bangers & Mash
Also known as sausage and mashed potatoes, served with some sort of gravy

3. Beefeater Gin

4. Churchill Arms
This one is more to check out the restaurant. The exterior (and interior) is lined with flower boxes. Definitely one of the more unique spots I’ve been to. Plus, they have some pretty good Thai food

Alright, so not technically a food but the Beefeater Distillery is definitely worth checking out if you want to learn more about their gin
5. Cockles
Small clams, usually sold/eaten seaside

6. Fish and Chips
This one is pretty obvious one to try: fried fish and fries

7. Flat Iron
Restaurant in Soho that serves steak with a side salad for £10

8. Full English Brekkie
Typically consists of fried eggs, sausage, bacon, baked beans, hash browns, tomato, mushrooms, black pudding, toast, or any combination of that

9. Indian Food
London has no shortage of restaurants serving Indian cuisine. Check out Dishoom but prepare to wait

10. Scotch Egg
Hard-boiled egg, wrapped in sausage meat, coated with breadcrumbs, then deep-fried

11. Sunday Roast
Roasted meat and roasted potatoes, typically served with Yorkshire pudding, on a Sunday, hence the name
12. Yorkshire Pudding
Not actually pudding as I initially thought, but this if more like a super chewy piece of bread that you’d eat with your Sunday roast

13. Wagamama
Popular chain in the UK that serves Japanese-style noodles, like ramen, udon, and yaki soba. They recently opened up a few locations in NYC
