I LOVE Christmas. While I don’t think anything can beat Christmas in NYC, Christmastime in Vienna was pretty cool too. The city is decorated and of course, you’ll find Christmas markets all over town. This means you won’t run out of chances to sip mulled wine while you peruse some of the goods that the vendors are offering.

The biggest (and most touristy) one you’ll definitely want to check out is the Wiener Christkindlmarkt at Rathausplatz. Most of the stalls offer the same things, just like the other markets: ornaments, pastries, incense, candles, etc., but it feels very festive.
